I need help deciding on a restaurant to eat at while at DTD. We will be at Animal Kingdom all day then a quick stop at the resort to change, then a romantic dinner.....where???......and then finishing at PI for the night. (This is just the disneymoon, not wedding related)

I have ate at Raglan Road and WAS NOT IMPRESSED!

Everytime we are at Disney we eat at Rainforest Cafe, so not interested in that either.

I am CRAZY over crab, but DF does not like seafood, so it seems like Fulton's may be out as well. Does Fulton's have any turf? or are they just surf?

Any suggestions? We will be heading to PI for the night, so nothing where we will have to be buttered and rolled out the door...... :rotfl:

actually fultons does turf...its not bad (but i'm more of a surf girl)...

still have you tried upstairs at wolfgang pucks on the west side..also Portobellos has a great steak..its more of an italian restaurant

I am not sure where to suggest to you- but I love your sense of humor (being buttered and rolled out the door :lmao: ). Goodluck!!

My Vote would be to eat at the Portabello Yacht Club. We went there for my birthday/site visit and it was very, very YUMMY!!!! It was very romantic :stir:

Thanks! We love Italian food, so I think we may look into that....... :goodvibes

Second vote for Wolfgang Puck's - awesome food and superior service. They really have a great variety on the menu!

I also really like House of Blues. The cornbread appetizer alone is worth going there!

I think the most romantic options are Portobello Yacht Club and the UPSTAIRS of Wolfgang Puck's. The downstairs at WP is super noisy, so not very romantic IMO. Great food, though.

I really enjoyed eating at Bongo's. Its Gloria Estefan's cuban restaurant. Very tasty!

i definitely have to vote for either the Portobello Yacht Club or Bongo's Cuban Cafe. They both have great atmosphere and terrific food. and you might want to give Bongo's a try if you want something a little different. but i don't think you can go wrong either way.

enjoy whatever you decide!

and i almost forgot--you can get your seafood at Portobello, as well. i had THE most delicious seafood pasta dish last time i ate there--it was amazing. so it may be a win-win for both of you!

Bongo's is great! ( I am a little biased since its where went on our first date and the night he proposed!) Wolfgang's is fantastic and the fruit Martini is to DIE for!!!! If you are looking for a more quiet atmosphere go for Portobello! Have a great time!

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I've been looking at Portabello and Fulton's for our mini reception after our intimate. I looked at the Portabello menu on allears.net and it seemed sparse. Is it a nice place to go with larger groups? Will there be enough options for people? We'll only have 14 people, max. Thanks! (And sorry!)
