DTD/Pleasure Island

Can someone please refresh my memory. I went to DTD 5 yrs ago & it was included in our UPH. I'm trying to remember at what point you needed to pay an admission price. Do you have to pay just to go or is it only for the clubs? Also I thought I read something about free admission for DTD for an indefinite time. Does anyone know anything about this?

I believe the UHP includes admission to PI. They have a new policy where anyone can visit PI and only pay if you want to go into the clubs. They also lowered the price of club admission to $16.95.

I agree with the previous poster, but with a UPH, you shouldn't have to pay for admission to any clubs, and I believe you can go as many times as you want.

So, in other words, if you were leaning towards purchasing the UPH because of unlimited admission to DTD, it might make more sense to just stick with the park hopper pass???

Well to clarify, there is never an admission to Downtown Disney (DTD). The admission is to Pleasure Island, and that's what your UPH would get you into. If you were leaning towards a UPH because you want to go to the clubs of PI unlimitedly, then you should do that. If you just want to walk around the streets of PI and don't care about the clubs, then a UPH would be wasted for that purpose.

DTD is just shopping and eating. It's free for anyone, with free parking.

I think you're referring to PI, which is dance clubs. There is a set admission cost to it, but they have changed things so you can still wander through there for free and just not enter a club.

I believe with a UPH pass you get admission into the clubs if you so desire. Yes.

But DTD is open to anyone, as is West Side.
