We have reservations for House of Blues in October. Any
comments good or bad? There doesn't seem to be much
discussion about it...would we be better off going somewhere
else?

Or...what's good to order here?

Thanks in advance!

There's not a lot of discussion because it's not on the dining plan. It's actually pretty good. I like the Elwood sandwich.

We really like it and try to get in there on every trip.

The jambalaya is absolutely to die for. Huge pieces of sausage, moist shrimp and juicy chicken. *Dies thinking about it*

I have it reserved just incase on out upcoming trip.

You can get gift certificates for this restaurant from restaurant.com

We used a Restaurant.com $25 certificate. I paid $2 for the $25 certificate. Right now the $25 certificates are $3 using the promo code SAVE. They usually have a $2 code later in the month.

Kids Pizza. In Hind sight should have order one of these for the 2 kids to share. Was plenty big, and was kinda shocked when the bill came. They were $9 each (I never think to look at the prices on kids menus)

Thanks to all of you! You've put my mind at ease, and
now I'm looking forward to it!

The Disboards folks are the best!!!!!

While I haven't eaten at the HOB at DTD, (I did see a couple of shows there though), I've eaten at HOB in other cities and thought the food was good. It isn't extraordinary but I never had a bad meal.

We used one of our restaurant.com House of Blues certificates the last time we were there earlier this summer - and it was great. Myself, my husband and our 2 kids (4 & 7) all liked our food a lot. Fun atmosphere and DTD and we had a great server. I would not hesitate to eat here again and again - especially because its such a great deal with the certificate.

Enjoy!

Just got an email from restaurant.com use Promo Code : BIG and get $25 certificate for $2. Offer good till August 16th. Certificates for HOB do not expire.

Am I correct in reading that you can only use ONE certificate for HOB?

Here's the deal.......I saw the special this morning so I went to restaurant.com. Saw that the $25 certificates were $2 and there was a minimum purchase of $35 at HOB. So I bought 2, thinking that if the bill was $45 I could use them both. Now I see that I can only use one when we go on vacation (we probably wont eat there more than once).

1. Is it true that you can only use one certificate and not 2? I have never used restaurant.com before.

2. If it is true that I can only use one certificate, I have an extra $25 certificate if anyone would like it. Just PM me your details and I will get it in the mail to you ASAP.

It is not such a huge deal, seeing that it was only 2 bucks but I still dont want it to go to waste. So I will share the joy with someone else. PIXIE DUST!

I have both the $15 voucher for PH from our WDW pkg, and the rest.com $25 gift cert. We would be going for lunch.

I just purchased one and it states that it does not expire, whereas most of them expire in one year. Besides, my bet is that you'll probably be going back to Disney, won't you??;)

I've eaten here a few times during the years and it is never disappointed , The Elewood and sweet potato fries are delicious.

Hm, good point. I was thinking it was the one year expiration also but they both say "This certificate does not expire."
