We are looking to book a dinner in Downtown Disney, using the Disney Dining Plan "Plus" (and only using 1TS, not a signature restaurant).

We are thinking of making an ADR at Wolfgang Puck Cafe...but I was wondering if there are any other non-signature restaurants that people recommend in DTD. Thanks!

Besides Wolfgang Puck Cafe the only other table service restaurants in Downtown Disney that accept the Disney Dining Plan is Raglan Road, Planet Hollywood, and Cap’n Jack’s Restaurant. Among them I would recommend Raglan Road because it seems to get a lot of good reviews on here.

We ate at Captain Jack's once just because it was on the DDP and we really liked it. The food was good, it looked out over the lake and the service was some of the best we got anywhere on site. DS could not fine anything he liked:confused3, so the waitress asked him what he would like and they created this shrimp/ pasta dish that he loved!!!

There are no DDP signature restaurants at DTD. In fact, the only DDP TS restaurants are the four listed above.

I thought the upstairs portion of Wolfgang Puck was a signature dinning venue.

Disney website calls some restaurants "signature" due to the nature of the restaurant--in the sense that they are upscale & pricey. But not all "signature" restaurants are even on the dining plans. For example...Fulton's at DTD is called a "signature" restaurant, but it does not accept the dining plans. And the upstairs portion of Wolfgang Puck does not accept the Disney Dining Plan either (not the "Plus" or "Deluxe" Dining Plans.) It may accept the Platinum plan, but that's not actually a dining plan (more of an all inclusive plan for meals, shows, spa, sports, etc. And it costs like $150 a night per person or some such crazy amount.)

Also, have eaten at both Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Raglan Road...would give the edge to RAglan Road since they have awesome Irish entertainment in there; food was good at both places though.

Thank you for your recommendation and your clarification, bummer not all restaurants are on the DDP.

"Signature" in Disney speak means upscale and isn't specific to the dining plan. The upstairs at WP may be considered "signature" but it is not on the dining plan. Bluezoo at the Dolphin is also listed "signature," but is not on the dining plan.

Most restaurants at DTD are not on the dining plan.

Rainforest is on Deluxe dining, it's not listed on the brochure though.

Rainforest Cafe (both locations) accepts only the premium and platinum package plans. They don't accept either the regular or deluxe dining plans.
