DTD Build-A-Bear

Hi,

I was just wondering if there was anything special about the DTD Build-A-Bear Workshop or if it was the same as its other stores. Are there any special characters or outfits? Are the prices lower/same/higher??

We haven't been in there the last few years, but 3 years ago they had disney shirts, mickey ears and hands and minnie sets as well for the bears to wear..

They have some Disney character outfits and Disney-related accessories... as well as it's the only place I know of that carries the Anaheim Ducks and some local team uniforms and stuff.

Our girls got some cute Disneyland stuff for their bears at home, Mickey ears, T Shirts etc

The store is actually two stories which is different from ours here in the Pacific NW.

I built my own mickey a few years ago! They might still have mickeys you can stuff and put clothes on but I realy dont know, I havent been in that build a bear for a long time.

During Christmas time they have alot of christmas characters (Frosty, Rudoph), but I'm not sure if that's unique to the DDD stores. When we were their a few weeks ago they mentioned the Disney outfits as items you can only purchase in that location...

Well I know they don't have Mickeys, but I do know they have accessories tho that are Disney. I haven't been in a long time.

Was just there and they had no Disney characters to make, but LOTS and LOTS of Disney outfits & accessories. Including a Stitch and Pooh that were full suits to put over your bear so that it looks like Stitch or Pooh except for face. It's a great place to buy outfits and accessories that you can't get elsewhere, I wouldn't necessarily make a bear/animal unless you don't already one (or several).

The price to for the actual animals is the same as our local Build a Bear.

They did offer Mickey, Minnie and Pooh on our trip 2.5 years ago. I know they carried the animals online at their website. If they do have the animals you can order them unstuffed and have it shipped to you if they still offer them.

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like a "not to miss" for us. My 2 girls (5 & 2) would love some Disney clothes.
