DTD and/or Resort Hopping from Typhoon Lagoon

In March, my husband will be taking the older kids to Typhoon Lagoon one of the days of our trip. We are staying off site so we would park at Typhoon Lagoon that day. While they are at the water park, I'd like to go to DTD and/or resort hop with the baby. I'd rather leave the car in one spot and explore from there. How do I get from Typhoon Lagoon to DTD? Which resorts should I visit? Does it make sense to walk from Typhoon Lagoon to the Polynesian and catch a bus from there? Should I just drive from place to place instead?

Typhoon Lagoon is nowhere near the Poly, so that option is out. Honestly, since you'll have a car, that would really be the easiest (and fastest) way to go.

Thanks. Looking at the map walking to the poly makes no sense. I really did google "how to get from typhoon lagoon to DTD" and one of the answers was walk to the Polynesian.

You can take a bus from TL to the Poly and then explore the resorts on the monorail line from the Poly via the monorail and then take a bus to DTD from whatever resort you end up at.

The trip back to TL is tricky but you can catch the first bus to any resort and then transfer to TL from the resort - or have your DH pick you up at DTD as TL is pretty close to DTD.

You could also drop off dh and the kids at TL and then have the car at your disposal - you can park at the resorts for free for up to 3 hours at a time.
Parking at DTD is also free however from what I have read the construction has limited the amount of parking available.
