DT Disney - Cap'n Jack or Portobello

We're headed to Disney in December. I noticed that more DT Disney restaurants are on the DDP. Would you suggest Cap'N Jack's or Portobello? 6 adults and 2 kids: girl (4), boy (3). Also - opinions on T-Rex, Rainforest Cafe, Paradisio, or Planet Hollywood? Worth eating on DDP? Thanks for your help.

Portabello is a lot better than Capt Jacks.

I would skip Planet Hollywood; food is mediocre and not likely to interest your young diners. T Rex and RFC are very loud; if the kids aren't noise sensitive they will probably enjoy. The adults would probably like Paradisio better.

Have never eaten at Portobello but the worse meal we have ever had was at Capt. Jacks.

1) Cap'n Jacks
. . . great for appy's
. . . nice place for drinks and scenery
. . . one of the worst choices for dinner in DTD
2) Take Portobello !

Thanks for the feedback. I think we'll try Portobello's. We're excited - made our Grand Villa reservation today!!
