DS's Marching Band is in the movie the Manchurian Candidate

Last October, 25 members of my DS's Marching Band was picked to play music and perform in the movie. They were filmed at the Jacob Javitz Convention in Manhattan. In the movie , some members are seen.When meryl streep"s charecter is walking in a hallway they march pass her. in the beginning and in the middle of the movie they are seen for a few seconds when Meryl streep's character is talking to newsman . They were 25 out of 125 members who were chosen . We are so excited !!! My son was chosen but he was not seen in the movie he was behind a taller boy. The band are wearing white, black and gold uniforms and the drummers are wearing white shirts with black pants. Our band director and high school East Ramapo Marching Band are at the end of the looong credits!!!

Cool joe, that's really neat!

He'll probably always remember his part in the movie, albeit a small 'fuzz' in the background, but still will remember it.

Ask my wife someday about her staying all night at County Stadium in her college years being an extra for some baseball movie. She can recall it like it was yesterday.
