DS11 is wondering... Star Tours

It should be better than this quote by Roxydotty who was in the park yesterday.

Yes, it was very busy today (Tues.). We walked by Star Tours about 11:30 and fastpass return time was about 10 pm. We only rode about 5 or 6 rides. Walked over to DCA and saw Aladdin until it stopped for technical reasons and was unable to resume. Very crowded and congested in the usual areas. Feel bad for those in wheelchairs/scooters. I can't imagine trying to get around in one of those with all the crowds.

We were there recently and the line for ST was always long, never less than 45 minute wait and FPs went quickly. We got there Saturday about noon and the return time for FP was 6:15. Of course we got them and of course we rode and man it was GREAT!!! We've ridden it 3 times since it's opened and while parts are the same the ride itself has been different every time. Can't wait to go back in a couple weeks and ride it more..... :)

Star Tours is still the hot ticket ride at DL. On Monday, the stand-by line was running well over an hour at several times during the day.

My advice is to ride it first thing at 7:00 a.m. during your Magic Morning. They do not open the Fast Pass machines until the park opens at 8:00 a.m. What works for us is to ride it first thing, then stay in the Tomorrowland area, riding Space and Buzz. Just before 8:00, get in line for Star Tours Fast Passes. They will let people access the machines right at 8:00. Your return time should be fairly early, and you will probably have the opportunity to get more Fast Passes for Star Tours later in the day. On our last two 3-day trips, we were able to ride it two or three times each day.
