Ds11 has walking pneumonia!!!

He has asthma and had started wheezing, so I took him to the Dr. The Dr. heard crackles, ordered a chest xray and the boy has pneumonia. They put him on amoxicillin and he has a followup next week. And Grace is having attacks too, so now she's on flovent for the next month and singulair indefinitely. It's been a hard spring as far as their asthma goes. I hope the summer is a lot better.

I had this while I was pregnant with my last child. It was the worst. I was sick for two months, and it took forever to feel better again. Hope she feels better soon.

Heah Loriann, are you talking about Benji or your other ds, hope he feels better soon and Grace too. My ds is 15 and the day after we came back from disney he got SOOO sick too. Not one asthma attack the whole time we were there april 24-may2. 2 drs. later and 2 meds and he did want to do a chest x ray but ds was not wanting it, I kept telling him to take the nebulizer machine which he did a few times and the dr. gave him the most powerful amox too. He is better and I pray yours will get better too, Hang in there, you are doing a great job as a mom!!

I have not had problems with my asthma for years but I have a sinus infection and bronchitis that I am having a heck of a time getting rid of!! I am a grouch beyond belief!!

What the heck kinda' bugs are goin' around, anyway!?

EVERYONE (Me, DS5, DD3 and DH) in my house has walking pneumonia.

It all started with cough, congestion, fever and headache-- Adenovirus DD brought home from preschool 10 days ago. Five children in her class ended up with walking pneumonia or some form of bronchitis.

Hang in there as it takes some time to feel back to normal.
