DS starts pre-school today: He is home!

Just curious, why did he start now and not in September or back in September? Was it a waitlist thing or something else?
No accidents, :cool1: Soon he wont want to wear one at all and then you can take that pullup money and buy more scrap stuff!:rotfl2: ( I know, instead of cr** stuff!:rotfl2: )

Mine used to come home and nappy noodles on the sofa...heck they still do that :lmao:

No wait list -- public school and it is free. Two reasons: DS turned 3 in Sept and I wasn't quite ready to let him go, and we knew that DH would be away for training and then onto Iraq starting in January. Dh had leave from around Oct 25 through most of December, so we decided to keep DS home with Daddy as long as he was home.

cr**stuff :rotfl: :rotfl: too funny!

Thanks girls! DD had an early appointment today, so his mom-mom took him to school (not my mom, my mom's best friend). Anyway, he was very happy. Since her daughter is the guidance counselor, she was able to sneak up to his classroom and take peak -- he was playing and talking to the other children. He was adamant about staying the whole day today, so I decided to let him try. He was incredibly tired and crank yesterday. I couldn't put him down for a nap because I had two more school picks --one at 230 and the next at 315. Hopefully, he'll sleep with the class and be more pleasant afterschool today.

As I read through your post just tonight, it reminded me of the first days for each of our 5 daughters, and how our emotions were probably more dramatic than theirs were. How time passes more slowly when we watch that clock.
I am so happy that he enjoyed himself, and that you did manage to get through the day. Hoping that his enthusiam will sustain him through many more yrs - I am fortunate to still see 8th graders who are excited to be in my class. ...and, yes, you will find it much easier to pass your days knowing that he is is enjoying his!!
