DS started preschool today....his first words when he got home...

MICKEY MOUSE! REALLY! DS is 2.5 years old and doesn't speak mush yet. But today, we comes home from his first day at preschool, points to his WDW t-shirt and says MICKEY MOUSE!

I was soooooooooooooooo worried about him today and he did great. A little crying in the middle, but he was fine! He seems very proud of himself. S

The other Sandra C here. Glad your DS had a good first day. I have taught preschool and kindergarten programs for years and those first days are harder on moms than on the kids!!! Glad he's got a teacher that loves Mickey Mouse. My kids are making "me" dolls tomorrow and they all have Mickey Mouse shirts (scrap booking leftovers) to put on their "me" people. They love all their teachers mickey clothes and by the end of the year will be able to sing LOTs of Disney songs!!!

Hey SandraC!!!! Thanks for writing! I was fine with him going to preschool until this morning. But once he was there, everything was fine. I went to my dd's school to volunteer while ds was in his school. That kept my mind busy! Chat soon! S
