DS says ghosts go to kevin

So DS (4) and I were having a conversation the other day. He asks me what happens when you die. I tried to explain to him that when you die your spirit goes to heaven.


The next day DH is asking me who Kevin is because DS has told him that when you die your ghost goes to Kevin (heaven). It was too cute. If you say it out loud it makes sense.

I think my DS gets his "H" and "K" mixed up. When DH plays Halo, DS says Kalo!

Those early words are so cute to listen to. Marie and I still to this day, chuckle about some of those letter confusions back then. And yes, it is true, ghosts do go to kevin.

That's one thing I miss about the boys being older.

But I did learn from older DS that Shampoo lives at Sea World and that our beautician's name isn't Amanda it's Panda. Last time I got a haircut she asked if I remembered DS calling her Panda and did I remember the Panda Congrats card we sent her when she opened her shop.....I did but didn't think she would. Seems she's saved his card for the last 10 years now.

That's so cute! I loved every minute when my kids were little (well maybe not quite - like when DD cried for the 1st 10 mos what seemed like continually, poor thing) but those fractured phrases were one of my favorite parts!

I think the one I liked best for DD was her way of saying "upside-down". She'd bend over so she was upsdie down (even in the highchair) & say "updown side". Too funny!
