was just wondering if anyone knew if it were possible to be given or purchase the negatives from any pictures taken by the photographer at dc .......would like to bring home and get the best blown up to a big size

Hi Ian,

We spent last Christmas Day at DC. After your swim you are shown all the photographs taken by the official photographers. There are a number of different packages available including a video. You cannot buy the negatives but you can buy a CD of all the photographs taken which then gives you the copyright to do what you will with them.

We bought the video and the CD and, I think, it came to about $200 which we justified as a once in a lifetime opportunity to caputre the moment.

thanks for that camac.......anyone know if you can enlarge photos off a disc without losing the quality

The photos are good enough to enlarge to A3 size as I am looking at my youngest son and Tyler (dolphin) as I type, in a frame hanging on the wall in my office.
