I only know this because this afternoon I started to feel pretty confident in my ability to parent. :teeth: I just breezed through the afternoon having a great time with DS, putting out small fires every now and then but for the most part I was on top of his every move. :teeth: I had this brief fleeting moment when I felt that maybe I could raise a toddler...how much harder can it really get? ;) The last few times I had that feeling he had to start mixing it up again just to keep me on my toes! ;)

Isn't it funny that when we finally start to feel like we are meeting the particular challenges of our kids at the time that they develop new challenges for us? :)

Well, SEE, at least you KNOW better now...and that is the mark of a smart parent. ;)

No matter WHAT age Nathan is you will have days where you feel like you have nailed the parenting thing and days that will make you feel like you have failed miserably. Comes with the territory. :)

Oh Man Becka, you have cursed yourself now!!!!!!!!! LOL!! Just wait! DD is three and we are never sure which child we will have, the cute little pixie, the concentrating scholar, the mecurial one, or my favorite, Little Moussolini! But no matter what the day has been like, I always tuck her in, turn off her nightlight and thank God for the bleesing of her!
