I hope so too.
NO matter what, it's good to only say things in terms of IF you can go on the ride. "Let's see if you can go today/this time, stand up straight and tall, don't hunch!" and various other ways of putting it.
And just b/c you made it past the first, remember, there's a second. Might not be this way at WDW, but I noticed that if I started carrying DS in line and the CM saw, that was an immediate re-measure. So again, stand up straight and tall, you WANT to hit that bar wiht your head (gently please)!"
My guy did not want to touch the bars with his head, he thought it would hurt. We had to really convince him that it was the goal. To stand up tall. DS was booted from Star Tours at
Disneyland b/c a CM pushed down on his shoulder and slipped a piece of paper between head and measuring bar. Hubby lost his brain and didn't remind DS to stand straight and tall (and to tell CM to get hand off of child). NOT a good experience, but it definitely taught us ALL that nothing height-wise is for sure, when they are still that young!
