DS is 10... adult or child?

I'm not looking for a debate! I just have a question.
The Disney DP website info says child is under 9. My DS Is 10 (May 2000) We had QSDP last year (at the time my oldest was 9) and both my kids ate off the childrens menu which was't great but they survied and it was fine. I also know that all the credits are "pooled" etc. My Question is this...

My disney reservation says 2 adults & 2 kids (and shows thier ages as 7 and 10) but the Disney DP info says that the DP prices are ?-9 kids & 10+ adult. so does my oldest get to order off the adult menu or does Disney consider him a kid? I don't have a breakdown of the Package price so I'm not sure what Disney charged for him.. but they do have his age listed correctly??? I am prob making a bigger deal out of this then I need to but I'm curious what our KTTW card is going to look like.. is it going to say 2 adults 2 children or is it going to say 3 adults 1 child?

At 10 they are considered an adult for dining and tickets. They are considered a junior for the room, meaning you don't pay an extra fee for an extra adult in the room.

So he will be able to eat off the adult menu. If he wants a kids meal at a TS you can either use his credit or save it and pay out of pocket for the meal. If he does this a few times then you would have enough credits for another TS meal. But you kind of need to figure that out before you go so you know what you are doing. You don't want to pay for some kid's meals and then not use the adult TS credits.

10 is an adult for tickets and dining. As noted above, the "junior" designation refers to guests under 18 for the resort room only. The above post is correct in that all it means is that you will not pay the extra adult charge to have the 10 year old in the room. It does not designate children's prices for tickets or dining.

Where your key card designates the dining plan it will read 3 adults, 1 child.

Your DS10 can order off the adult menu, and I think his KTTW will say adult and will be valid for charging (at least my DD11's was last week). You will have three adult credits and one child credit on your dining plan.

My DD was so excited to be able to do the finger scan in the parks!
