We've been keeping a close eye on DS's teeth ( he's 7 ) and still not been showing any sign of losing his baby teeth. Monday he started complaining of toothache so we looked at his teeth and he sems to have his last molar coming through of his baby teeth.Mmmm... strange... I think and then he tells me all his teeth are hurting but he doesn't want any pulled out(we've noticed before that he grinds his teeth in his sleep). So this morning I gave him some medicine and sent him to school and rang up the dentist who said bring him in for 9.15 tomorrow morning.
Last time he had a visit to the dentist they put a temporary cover on his teeth they thought it would give his teeth time to come through on their own. DH has explained to DS that he may need to have some teeth pulled out at some point in the future to let his adult teeth grow through so I'm waiting to see what happens in the morning. It would just be our luck for him to have a tooth or two removed before we go to WDW and he'll have a nice gap in his smile in his photos.
