DS causing Wedding drama....thoughts?

Stick to your guns. It would be different if she was standing up for you, on your side, but it would be terrible for your fiancee to have to deal with her as a BM. Your sister has called your fiancee multiple names and obviously doesn't think very highly of her. The wedding will be stressful enough for the bride without having to include someone who doesn't like her, just to appease family.

Give her another role in the wedding, but she needs to realize that bridesmaids are there to support the bride and she's done nothing of the sort up til now. She's actually been hurtful and mean. If she decides not to go, tell her she will be missed, but that's her decision.

Good luck, this kind of situation is so difficult.

I spoke with my parents and they seem to think I should just forget it and let her be a bridesmaid. I don't understand that...I just don't get how they can back her on this. Dad kept saying that if I stick to my decision, that I have to live with that. ??? what does that mean?

I have to say I feel better and worse knowing that someone else has a sibling that is that irrational!

Happy because I know I'm not alone, but sad because she is 21 and I was hoping as she gets older she would chill out, but who knows!

She got mad once in WDW when she mentioned that she wanted to eat at the Sci-Fi. So I called and got an ADR. When we got there she threw a temper tantrum because "We always eat where she wants to eat" speaking about me. She was upset because I had called, so therefore it was now a place I wanted to eat, not something I had done for her!
