DS being evacuated in Mexico

My DS and DBIL are in Playa del Carmen this week and have just been notified that they are being evacuated to the ... convention center, gulp . Needless to say, after Katrina, this has our family a bit worried. Apparently the people at Funjet haven't been paying attention to the weather because they dropped more people off today, and didn't take anyone out, even though it's been all over the news today that the Mexican government had ordered the evacuation of Cancun and surrounding area. My sister didn't even know how bad the hurricane had become until my mom talked to her tonight and urged her to find some hotel officials and figure out what's happening. After that they were told that everyone in their hotel would be going to the convention center to ride out the storm as all flights in and out have now been suspended. Hopefully this won't turn into a bad situation like in NO. Prayers and Pixie Dust would be appreciated for all affected by this storm.
