I bought several baby back ribs because they were on sale. My DH and kids don't like them with bbq sauce on them. They prefer dry rub (they've only had the ones at Chili's). Does anyone have a recipe for a dry rub? If you do please share with me. Thanks!

I use the Alton Brown rub in a post above, but I leave out the jalapeno, thyme and Old Bay and add garlic powder instead. There was something about the original we just didn't care for.

Count me in as another fan of Alton Brown's recipe, they are amazing, I liked the original and found that the recipe actually makes enough for 2 servings so I ziploc the extra and use it the next time. I also tend to marinate my ribs in 50% water & 50% Italian salad dressing (usually Ken's light northern Italian or Caesar) starting the night before so they are plump and flavorful before the rub even touches them.
