Does any recent cruisers know what the dry cleaning charges are on-board? Went to Dave's site, but the price sheet there was 2 1/2 yrs old.

Thanks

Sorry, but I do NOT have an update.

I can tell you one of the best things is to note that Pressing is only 1/2 price.

AND YOU GET GET THINGS PRESSED YOU BRING ON BOARD WITHOUT HAVING IT CLEANED.

We left a lot of things we packed unpressed, since we knew they would get wrinkled, etc.

We sent it out the first thing when we got it to our rooms.

Didn't spend $15 total, and saved well over an hour slaving over an ironing board ahead of time, and touching it up after.

Treat yourself.

You're worth it.

I had a jacket pressed for $3.50, which was 50% of the dry cleaning price ($7.00). Prices seemed to be reasonable when compared with other hotels I've stayed at.

I got these prices from our 4/05 cruise. Hope this helps.

Do you drop the dry cleaning off somewhere on the ship or do you just call and they come to pick it up?

Thanks for the prices. I think I will wait to have my black suit dry cleaned on board as that is cheaper than I can do here.

Just give it to your room steward and he will take care of everything.

In your room/closet you will find laudry bags.

Make sure you stuff your things in the laundry bag that's provided...or they won't take it.

I was sending my evening gown out to be pressed the night befor I was needing it...I filled out the tag....but didn't want to stuff my whole gown in the bag so I put the bag over the hanger of my dress with the cleaning tag attached and left it draped on our bed. I figured our room host would see it when he came to turn down the bed that evening and send it off. We did call and ask where we should put it and when before leaving it on the bed that night....and were told about the bag the slip and to leave it on the bed...So the ONLY thing I didn't do was stuff it in the bag. Anywho...our stateroom host moved it aside (hung it on the hook by the bathroom) and left it there....with the bag hanging on the hanger and the ticket still attached. Of course as soon as we got to our room that night we found it and wondered what happened...and called GS right then. Ended up we missed the dead line for the evening...and were told we'd have to pay double for express service to have it pressed now. But after talking with our stateroom host about the whole thing...he did get the job done...and we were not charged double.

Lesson learned: Put the stuff...no matter what it is IN the bag.

Question: If I bring DH's dress shirts still in the package and send them out to be washed, will they press the shirts too? I'm not asking about dry cleaning, but laundry. $9 to have 3 shirts washed and press is a pretty good deal for me. I'm lazy!

Yes...Kids prices are the same as adults...It dosen't matter what size the clothes are that are being pressed or cleaned...a shirt is a shirt and cost the same. :thumbsup2

Most of my child's clothes are body suits, would that classify as a shirt?

On Disney, do they a day that they put bags in your cabin, and you can have cleaned as much as you can fit in the bag for $15?

They do this on Carnival and Royal Caribbean, so I was just curious?

I really think I will save the trip to the cleaners before we leave and get things done onbaord. If we send our stuff out the day we board, we it be back be dinner on day 2?

Curious if these are still the prices now? I'm thinking of just packing my dresses and DH's suit. I don't have a rolling garment bag and even if I did, they may still need to be pressed... :bitelip:

Thanks!

Just bumping. I am also searching for current prices. Just planning to pack formal wear and sent it out for pressing only on our late June cruise.
