Did we sleep last night!!!! Must have been tired!! Finally got out of the room at 9:30 and we drove to IHOP for breakfast.
How happy was my husband when he saw the promotion - "all you can eat pancakes"!!!!!!
2 breakfast samplers and lots of pancakes later, we were off to Epcot.
Exchanged our vouchers for our Annual Passes (no 2007 wallets!) and we were in - I am finally happy.
First things first and we head to Soarin to grab fast passes and they are already on 4
o. We go on Living in the Land whilst here as there is no queue and then head to The Seas to go on the new Nemo ride.
10 mins wait and we are in our Clamoblie. The ride is great although it kept stopping and starting and is very clever how they have put this together.
After a visit to see Crush, we head to World Showcase. Stop at the Rose and Crown so my DH can have a Bodingtons. He says he cant make it all the way round without one!!!!
We have been looking for Mushu for years and how happy was I when we finally saw him in China - WOOOOOO!
Fastpass was due for Soarin, so we grabbed one for Test Track, jumped on Mission Space and headed for Soarin.
On the way to Soarin, we popped into thr Character Connection and were pleasantly surprised to see the characters in new costumes (DREAMS costumes). As we queued for Mickey, I was talking to my DH about Donald Duck not being there, as he is one of my favs. Then I was up to meet Mickey and what did I say to him......................"hi Donald"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooo embarrassed!!!! Mickey was like i look nothing like him and everyone was laughing - my DH has not let me forget and keeps taking the "mickey!" out of me!!!
After riding Soarin and doing Figment/Honey, we got some Fish n Chips in the Rose & Crown and more Boddingtons and then claimed our spot for Illuminations.
IT IS COLD OUT HERE - FREEZING!!! I AM WRAPPED UP WITH HAT AND GLOVES!!! IF YOU ARE DUE TO FLY OUT HERE - BRING WARM CLOTHES!
