Can I drop the first day of my stay before the final payment without penalty? We need to see what my son's football schedule is before we can decide if we can leave Sat. or Sun for DW.

Yes, you can make any changes or cancellations that you need to before your final payment due date on a package (46 or more days before your arrival)and not have to pay a penalty. If you have a room only reservation, then you can make changes 6 days or more before you arrival day. HTH
