dropping off luggage

I will be sailing in October with my DM and 3 children (without my DH). We will be dropping a rental car with Avis and picking one up in return after the cruise. I'm wondering about how to get the luggage to the port as I'll be doing most of the lugging for 5 people myself (I am also the only driver). If I drive the rental car to the port to drop off ahead is the a porter that can help? Do I have to go inside, and if so, what about the car. I wanted to drop the luggage then drop the car at the Radisson and take the shuttle over with only the passengers in our party. Is this at all possible, it seems so complicated! Last time we went (with my DH and oldest DS and their muscles) we had to carry everything from the shuttle drop off across the street. I know there is no way I can do that by myself!! Help!!!!!!!!!!

You can definitely drop off your bags at curbside and there will be porters there waiting to help.

Since you have children with you, you obviously can't leave them there, so after dropping off your bags then take the car back and you can all take the shuttle back to the part. Keep your carry-on bags with you, too.

How much should we tip the porters that take the luggage?

I tip them $1 - $2 dollars per bag.
