Dropping off luggage

We are hiring a car to get us to the terminal for our 7/6 Magic cruise and thought it may be easier to drop our luggage off before we return the car to the Avis depot at the Radisson. Will it be easy enough to do this? Of course ideally Mum could also drop me so I could check us in but I don't think she would ever find her way back!!

We took an airport shuttle from the Melbourne airport in March for our cruise. There is a Disney CM in a parking lot across from the terminal accepting luggage from passengers. It's not clear, however, whether the public is permitted into this lot, as I remember our shuttle driver telling us that she paid for a parking pass to be able to use that lot. I remember seeing lots of limos and vans. I would call DCL and check with them for exact instructions.

Definitely drop off your luggages at the port first. The shuttle is convenient, but can get crowded at times. You'll pass right by the port on your way to the Radisson anyway. We did this on our two previous trip and wouldn't do it any other way. In fact, I always drop off my DW and kids at the port as well. It's always easier to find one seat on the shuttle than 5.

Thank you for the help. I would love to be dropped off but know that mum would panic. But there again how many 68 year olds from scotland would drive in LAand San Francisco!!
