Dropping kids off at Universal

We are going to be in FL in June, and staying at Disney and visiting their parks. My ds16 wants to have a day at Universal with his best friend and the rest of us arent intrested in going to the Universal park. Can we drop him and his friend off without having to pay for parking...which we wont be using? We would just drive them over and then pick them up at the end of the day. I have never been to Universal and dont know how anything works there. Thanks

Yes...there is a Guest Drop-Off area where you can do just that. Just follow the signs...you'll see it.
