This will be our first time on a Disney Cruise, and we have some questions. Last year we had a family vacation at the Ron Jon so we are somewhat familar with the area. We are planning to get to the port around 12:30. We have the REAS Package, so no need to get there early. These are the questions that we have:

1. We are going to go to the Super Walmart to get a few things, someone had posted that they were going to open a Publix, is the Publix now open, and would it be closer?

2. We are going to have a car that needs to be returned to Budget. If I remember right don't we drive right by Budget to get to the port if we are coming from Super Walmart. We are going to have 2 kids ages 6 and 5 and a lot of luggage. Would it make sense for my husband to drive us to port and drop off all of the luggage and then go and return the car, or should we just stop and all do it together?

3. If my husband does drop us off, how long will it take before he gets back to the port?

4. Should he wait for the Budget shuttle, or would it be quicker to just take a cab?

5. So what should I do with the kids at the terminal. Should I stand in line to check in without my husband, or would it make more sense to stand in the line to check the kids into Kids Camp? Do you have to do one before the other? Won't people think that I'm cutting in line if I just go in and look for the Kids Camp Line?

Any info. would be helpful.

Thank You

Can't answer #1... try www.dcltribute.com Dave may have it on one of his maps.

#2,3,4.. Have hubby drop-off everyone/everything and then return rental. He can then take shuttle back to port. MAKE SURE HE HAS HIS PHOTO-ID or they won't let him back into the port. It will take about 30 minutes for him to be back in the terminal.

#5 You can get everyone checked in while your waiting. Once hubby comes back you take him back to the CM that checked you in & they will give him his KTTW card. You don't have to wait in line to do this, just wait for the CM to finish up with the person they are with... You can also check the kids into the club on board, so that is up to you when you do that. Not sure if you have to be checked in or not, I would think you would have to be.
