Can a person be dropped off at the MK without having to pay for parking? Where would you get dropped off? In the middle of the TTC parking lot? I'm just trying to figure out if I need to take the car on the day my son and I head to the MK or if my husband can keep it that day (he's not going).

I've never heard of being dropped off at MK. To get to the TTC, you have to have some sort of pass, or purchase parking.

However, a suggestion: Get dropped off at the Boardwalk, take a leisurly stroll through Epcot, and take the monorail over....Just a thought!

I'd suggest getting dropped off at another resort that doesn't require you to pay for parking before you enter, then just take a bus from there to MK. Or you can be dropped off at Downtown Disney, and take a bus from there.

There is a drop off area at the TTC. It's a little yellow thing. :) Actually, all the parks have drop off areas. Just ask when you go in, where you pay for parking.

The one thing I'm not sure about is if you have to pay or not. I know they will let you through for other reasons (going to Ft Wilderness, or checking in at an MK hotel or eating at one). I hope someone else knows!

Last year my parents dropped us at the Grand Floridian when we were heading to MK. It's the last stop before MK on the resort monorail so it was a quick ride there.

If you would like to drop off someone at the Magic Kingdom, you may go to the Guest Drop Off at the Ticket and Transportation Center. At the Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza indicate to the Cast Member that you would like to drop someone off. They will direct you to the lane of traffic furthest to the right. You will not need to pay for parking. Follow the signs towards the Kennel Club. At the first traffic light, make a left hand turn onto Seven Seas Drive. You will pass the Kennel Club and Central Lost and Found on your right hand side. Soon after you will see a sign for Guest Drop Off. It is basically a semi-circle. Many taxi cabs will be in the same place.
