Driving to WDW from VA -where to take a break/sleep?

Trip is in June. On the way there we will just drive overnight (done this before). But on the way back, want to spend the night and some time the following morning (we have two small children and try to drive during naps or bedtime mostly) somewhere on the way home. I was thinking Savannah??? Any ideas?

How about a nature walk or state park to dial back from the manufactured excitement of WDW? Don’t know what route/highway you’re taking but shouldn’t be hard to find via Google etc.

I'm from MD, the DC/Baltimore suburbs. There 3 places we tend to stop. Preferred - Savannah (actually Richmond Hill, GA off 95). Otherwise, we stop in Santee, SC or Yemassee, SC. It just depends on how far we're willing to go.
