We are planning on driving up from Seattle the morning of the cruise. Has anyone done this, and can offer any advice or information in how it went? Timeline?

My advice would be not to drive up the morning of the cruise, but the afternoon/night before and stay in Vancouver. You never know what kind of delays (road construction, bridge outages, border lines etc.) that you might encounter to delay your trip.

I second this. Get across the border the day before you sail. You don't have to go all the way to Vancouver, but definitely get into Canada.

Yes that is the most recommended advice however our schedule does not allow for that. Well I'll let you know how it turns out 14 days....
Thanks for the feed back

So we made the drive up to Vancouver BC the morning of our cruise. We left early at 5:30 to make sure we had lots of time as the ship does not leave until 4pm. Normal conditions it is a 3 hour drive. We did not have any issues and we at the port by 9 am. We got some food walked the pier and took snaps of the boat, and killed some time. We parked at the port which was a little confusing, but we had lots of extra time so not to worry.

The best part was leaving on the last day. We got off the boat at 7:30 with luggage, and walked to our car. We were on the road by 8. Took a little bit to load the car.
