Driving to Universal from Disney

Driving to Universal from Disney

I am staying on Disney property for 9 days and would like to know if it is easy to drive to Universal and any directions you could give....

Or would you use transportation??????

I leave in 9 days

What time should I leave WDW to get there when it opens....

Any advice when we get there would be helpful...

We have the kids go free 5 day passes but will probably only go a couple of times during our stay.....

I have two boys 6 and 4

I did this last month. We went from Pop to US/IOA and it took us about 1/2 hour on a Saturday morning. I can't remember the exact route. We arrived at the garage around 1/2 hour before scheduled opening. Got to the gate about 15 minutes before sch. opening and they actually opened up right when we got there. I had heard that they usually open up a little before the scheduled time.

Just take I-4. Universal is next to the highway so you can't miss it.
