Driving to the port

We are on the Western Cruise that leaves this Saturday Feb 19th. We are renting a car and driving to the port. Does anyone know if the bridge is still closed from the accident that happened last month? Also what is the easiest way to get to the port from WDW. We are also looking for a place to stop before we get to the port to buy alcohol and water.

We can not wait.....5 days left!!

The easiest way to the port from WDW is to head back towards the airport and stay on 528 East. It will take you straight to the port.

As for alcohol and water...... if you go past the port and head south about 3 - 4 miles, there is a Publix grocery store on the right, and in the same general area there is an ABC liquor store on the other side of the road.

When we were there last summer, there were two toll plazas between the airport and I-4 headed to WDW. I think the toll was either $1.00 or $1.50 at each one. As for going to the port from WDW, you would go through both of those two plazas (unless you take a different route) and I think one or two past the airport, and again either $1.00 or $1.50 at each of those.

Airport to Port Canaveral (via SR528): $1.50 each way
Airport to WDW (SR528 to I4): $1.75 each way
