Driving to OKW

What is the quickest way from the Fla Tpk heading south? I have been through Orlando to I4 and have cut off the turnpike onto 27s and 192e to I4. Is there a quicker way?

Yes, there is new toll way from the turnpike, I think it is road #429. It is between US 27 and I-4.

Take it to Exit 8, and it will bring onto Disney property between Coronado Springs and Animal Kingdom

And once you are on it be careful about speeding, as they are working it heavily as you near the property.

it will cut almost an hour (might be more) off your trip but you pay more

$2.50 on the turnpike (instead of $1.25)

then $1.00 on 429.

for some reason - Orlando's tour industry is really pushing the other one - that connects to I4.

You'll easily save more than $2.25 on gas by avoiding the I-4 parking lot!

It's not on many maps yet. Last I checked it wasn't on Mapquest yet either. It was basically deserted when we used it last January. We actually had to scare vultures off the road on our way home! This shot was on our way in after exiting the 429, at about 3pm on a Saturday.
