Driving to MK Resorts

I have a question to which I'm unable to find the answer. My wife and I are staying at a MK resort for the first time (Poly) and we are excited!! I know when you get to WDW, you have to drive through the pay stations at the MK to get to the resorts. Do you just tell them you are checking in to your resort? Do you need to show your reservation or do they scan your magic band so they know you're a resort guest so you don't have to pay to park?

There are signs pointing to the lane for the resorts. You won't be asked to pay for park admission.

Thank you! I've never noticed these before. Not sure how I missed them - guess since I never thought we'd get to stay there I wasn't paying attention lol.

At the resort entrance they will scan your magic band so you should have it handy.

Stay in the right lanes. They go straight vs going left into MK lot. Then you can turn left (there are signs) that will take you to the Poly.

Also; depending on which direction you are coming from, you can come in from behind MK (County Rd 535 etc.) and you would not even go through the parking booths.
