Driving to Early Breakfast

I was just wondering, we're going in October and have two early (8:30 AM) character breakfasts scheduled, one at AK and one at MK. Would it better to drive those days to the parks ourselves or take the bus? We don't want to have to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM (we are on vacation :) ), but we also don't want to have any problems with parking. Any opinions on the best option? Both parks don't open until nine during the time we are there.

Driving to MK is not a problem, however, driving to DAK is. I would highly recomend the breakfast bus to DAK. The toll booths at DAK do not allow cars into the parking lot until 30 minutes or less to opening. On extra magic hour in the morning, expect the entry to be at opening time.

Absolutely take an early bus to Donald's since cars are held up at the gate and only Disney buses are allowed in. I would also suggest you take the bus to the Magic Kingdom for your breakfast. Otherwise you have to park at the TTC and boat or monorail over to the MK. For either breakfast get to your resort bus stop 45 minutes before your reservation. You will likely be early but you need to allow extra time in case you just miss a bus.

Hi, folks! I was wondering, does every resort have a "breakfast bus"? And if so , what kind of schedule is it on? We will be at POR and have a 7:20 beakfast at CM and I was trying to figure out how to get there at that hour. (no car)
Thanks!

There is a bus for each park AREA.

YOu would take the MK area bus for MK, and the MK resorts. So, Be out at the bus stop 45-50 minutes before your ADR (6:30AM) and take the MK bus. Tell the driver that you are going to CM and he MAY be able to drop you right off at the CR if he has time.

Thanks, better! I didn't know how early the buses ran (never had a adr this early) I thought they only started around an hour before the parks opened. So there WILL be one around 6:30 or so?

I understand that Disney starts the early buses 45 minutes before the first scheduled breakfast of that day. You do need to be at your resort bus stop at least 45 minutes before your reservation. You need to allow extra time in case you just miss a bus.

I' in the same boat as the OP. This has been driving me nuts. I really want to have my rental car available because I have little ones and I also want them to take the monarail and ferry to MK. So what time will the monarail start stopping at the TTC if the MK opens at 9AM. Or should I park at TTC and walk to Poly and take it from there.

Also if I take the bus to AK and it closes at 5, what is the lastest bus time to get back to resort. Thinking of having dinner at Rainforest after and since I won't have a car due to taking the bus in the AM......

If you take your car to MK(TTC), bring your ressie number. You will need to prove to the CM that you have ressies. You will get on the resort monorail which starts at 7AM.

There will be busses to take you back to your resort up until the Rainforest closes. It may not be a non stop bus, it may share with other resorts.)
