Driving to Disney---13+ hour drivers

WE DROVE LAST YR FOLLOWED MY DAD... NEVER AGAIN.... he went around richmond then around Tampa... in the middle of the night i told him he is crazxy......

So we are leaving this yr on aug 30 from baltimore, and going to mom's in florence S.C., then leaving S.C. labor day morning around 1 or 2 to get to disney around 8 am time to get checkied in and get to the parks.... I usually do all the driving hubby falls alseep.... we drove once from balt. to longview tx... 21 hrs straight threw he drove an hr og that cause he fell asleep

we drive once a year, and fly once a year. At 1008 miles, we drive straight thru in 15-16 hours w/stops. We used to go over 2 days, with a long drive day and get there lunchtime on day two. We fly once a year because if you include in your calculations lost income for 4 days (2 down, 2 back) vs airfare, car rental, etc.. sometimes it comes out the same.
