Sometime last week I read on this board that someone is driving from the Maritimes to Bangor and then flying from there to Orlando. I must say, I don't blame you one bit. Airfare from Halifax has been outragous :earseek: . We are considering driving to Manchester (alittle further but best I can do from Bangor is $350.00 cdn) and flying from there (it will be around....$165.00 cdn). I am thinking of bookin during March but really nervous about the drive. Just wondering if anyone can offer any insight into driving to Bangor area (or further) in March? We were hoping to go in April but my husband has some work committments. :cool1:

4 more hours from Bangor..give or take.

Have we thought about it?
Yep, many times..but we're looking at a 12 hour drive form here in CB.. road conditions, and the limited flexibility we have on extra vacation days (if we got weather/road delays) just make YHZ our choice..unfortunately, we have to pay through the nose for it this year!!

My cousin and her family live in Saint John, NB - they're flying out of BGR this year, and paying around $300 CDN for it.

HTH!

Hi,
We are driving from Fredericton to Bangor the end of March. Airfaire was much cheaper! Well worth the drive. :wave2:
