driving times within Florida ??

Approximately how long would it take to drive from:
1) Fort Lauderdale to Sarasota
2) West Palm Beach to Sarasota

I noticed that SWA flies there and wondering if I should consider these airports (along with MCO, TPA, SRQ [Sarasota]).

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

It would take between 3 - 3 1/2 hours from Ft. Lauderdale. Add and extra 1/2 hour to 45 minutes from WPB because of traffic.

Out of the two, it would be easiest from Ft. Lauderdale...just take I-595 to I-75 and then I-75 all the way to Sarasota.
