We are leaving this Friday morning. We usually drive down 75 from Cleveland, Ohio. The reason for this is that I get motion sick in the car and I absolutely HATE driving in the mountains. This yeare we are going to try to go throught West Virginia since it is a bit closer and the kids will have a different view along the way. We have not driven through West Virginia for 10 years. We drive in an Excursion and there are 6 of us. Me, my two kids DD11, DS15, my niece 17 and my parents. My Dad and I usually share the driving if he will let me but he will be the one driving through the mountains. I am going to try to sit in the backseat and sleep while driving in the mountains.
My question is can anyone give me some idea as to how long you are in the mountains when driving through West Virginia? I know it is silly but I wanted to try to prepare myself and if I can say ok only X more hours of the mountains and I will be fine? Any information would be appreciated.
