We are driving down in December. We are leaving after work and driving straight through. We've done this many times, and it works great for us.

We are hoping to be in the Atlanta area by breakfast time. We will have our two year old with us, so we like stopping at places he can have a chance to run, climb, stretch his legs, etc.

I'm figuring it will be cool in the morning, so I'm wondering if anybody knows the location of a McDonald's in that area (either before we get to Atlanta, in Atlanta, or on the other side of Atlanta) that has an indoor playland.

We will be coming into Atlanta on I-20 and heading out on I-75.

Anybody? I know this is a kind of specific question, but I never cease to be amazed by the info. that DISers have!

Bumping this up for you.

Try searching the restaurant locator on mcdonalds.com for Douglasville, GA or Stockbridge, GA. Douglasville is just west of Atlanta on I-20 and Stockbridge is south on I-75.

I'm hesitant to suggest an area within the Perimeter. You'll be passing near the airport, and JMO it's not the best area of Atlanta to be stopping in. I used to live in GA and passed by that area all the time on the way to the airport. The area near Greenbrier Mall off Lakewood Freeway or Camp Creek Parkway @ I-285 might not be too bad. Search East Point, GA or College Park, GA.

Maybe someone on here that still lives in GA can recommend somewhere along I-75, I-20, and I-285.

Hope this helps. :)
