Driving route from airport to BC

Hi,
We are arriving at MCO tomorrow at 4 p.m., picking up our car and driving to Bonnet Creek. Mapquest gave options to drive I-4 or 417. Seems like we'd want to avoid I-4 at rush hour, but I don't know if the other way is better or worse. Please advise!!!

417 is the Florida Turnpike, correct???? That's the way my Mears driver went in May, and it was quick! Way quicker than the Bee Line to I-4 that I've driven in the past. The toll shouldn't be too much, just take a few bucks in quarters.

We were headed to Gaylord Palms first, so we got off on Osceola Parkway. I don't know if there is another exit before there to take you to BC or not; I wans't apying that much attention. You can take Ocseola to Victory Way, turn right on VW, then right on Buena Vista. Bonnet Creek entrance is right past Caribbean Beach on the right. Going that way you miss all the DTD traffic.

No, SR 417 isn't the Florida Turnpike - it's the Central Florida Greeneway. But that's the best route for Bonnet Creek.
Take the South Exit from the airport to SR 417 South (Tampa/Disney World/I-4).
You can take either exit 6 (International Drive/SR 536) or exit 3 (Osceola Parkway). SR 417 is a toll road - I think it's $2.50 if you take the exit 6 route and $3.00 (including the toll at the exit).

If taking exit 6:
Go straight at the end of the exit ramp; continue about 3 1/2 miles on SR 536/World Center Drive to the second Disney exit (Hollywood Studios/Epcot Resort Area/Wide World of Sports) after you pass under the Disney sign; from the end of the ramp go about a quarter mile on Buena Vista Drive to the light and then turn left onto Chelonia Parkway that leads to Bonnet Creek.

If taking exit 3:
From the exit ramp turn right onto Osceola Parkway and go about 2 miles to and turn right onto Victory Way; continue on Victory Way for just over a mile and turn right onto Buena Vista Drive; go about a half mile on Buena Vista Drive and turn right onto Chelonia Parkway that leads to Bonnet Creek. If my memory serves me, exit 3 has an unmanned/exact change only toll booth on the exit ramp - I think it's a 50 cent toll.

It's roughly 20 miles from the airport to Bonnet Creek if you take the exit 6 route and two or three miles longer if you take the exit 3 route.

I would follow Detailor's advice. Don't use I-4 at rush hour. Exit 6 would be the better exit on 417. Have a great visit.

I got the name wrong, but that is the road we took because I remember getting off at Exit 3. That's still the way I would go.
