I'm going to WDW for my first time in September and staying at all star sports. During my vacation I will have a rental car and was wondering what time do I need to leave the resort to get to the 4 disney theme parks and universal studios when they open? Should I be expecting major traffic? Thanks any advice would greatly be appreciated

for universal leave all stars an hour ahead of park opening
for magic kingdom 45 minutes before park opening
for MGM / EPCOT / AK 15 to 25 minutes before park opening
have fun!!!!!!

Anytime we drive to WDW, we park the car and use the WDW transportation - it's free, we don't have to argue which direction we're taking, and with gas prices - it's FREE!
As far as Universal, it's about a 25 min. drive down the I-4, easy to get to, but if you leave in the morning, you'll hit a lot of traffic, so give yourself enough time - don't forget to take money for parking (I think it's $10 per day, maybe more).

I think I remember reading one time that if you are trying to arrive for an EMH morning the toll booths may not yet be open.
