Driving in Florida

Hi! I was wondering if anyone had recent information about the new Florida law and foreign drivers. Looking into renting a car in November, and was wondering.

No longer necessary. The state of Florida took out a full page ad in either the Star or Globe this week, apologizing for the trouble and misunderstanding they caused all Canadians. I was one of the unfortunate (and my wife also) who wasted our time and money purchasing an International Drivers License last month.

Yep, no need to worry!

We just rented a car in March. Hubby had to show his passport and Ontario driver's license but no other ID required.
