We're leaving this Saturday   to pick up my daughter from the college program. We're driving from Virginia. I've heard about the new road. So, where is it and how do we get there? We're going by way of I-95.

Thanks everyone!!

Coming down I-95, near Daytona get onto I-4 west (southwest), When you get into Orlando, switch to Holland East West toll road (408) west. You will then (must then) get on Florida's Turnpike, choose north (northwest), and a few miles later is Route 429. South on this gets to the new Disney Western Way exit.

You will probably be better off staying on I-4 all the way to Disney since the above is quite circuitous and the Holland East West is probalby just as crowded.

Still another way is to get off I-4 onto 417 before reaching Orlando. This is said to be quite uncrowded and it goes clockwise around the horn south of the airport and directly to Disney.

First of all NO WHERE on ANY sign in this area is the 408 referred to with the word "Holland." It's always "408" or the "East-West" or a combo of the two. I was just on it Saturday in both directions from east of I-4 to the Turnpike, and am quite sure of the signage.

Next taking the route you suggest (I-4>408>tpke>429) is WAY out of the way! It would add probably 10 miles to the trip.

To the OP--just stay on I-4, it's the most direct way from 95. The 419 only helps those coming south on 75, NOT 95.
