Driving "Home"

Help!!! LOL I'm trying to talk my husband into going to "home" sooner than 1 1/2 yrs from now. I've been working hard on getting good rates on all we'll need.

Now for my question. Have any of you from the Mass. area ever driven with teens/baby? We own a mini van w/dvd player I don't think it would be that bad. He says I'm nuts, that driving down would probaby be ok. but coming back to Mass would be a "nightmare".

Any opinions.............even if they agree with DH. LOL

You'll probably get a better cross-section of opinions on the Transportation board.

But we did drive once from Ohio and would (will) do it again. Some people will spread out a trip like that over two days, spending the night in a hotel room. When we did it, we had three adults in the car, so we just went all the way only stopping for meals. Our 2 year old son also came along for the trip, and the best decision we made was to depart at night. We left about 10pm, and got almost to Atlanta (about 9 hours) while DS slept.

The trip home was a bit more tedious as expected. But nothing that scarred us permanently.

thank you but what is the transportation board. Again please forgive me I'm new at this. Noone would ever guess before kids I worked with computers 40-60hrs a week.LOL

They deal specifically with questions regarding how to get to WDW (car, air, etc.), rental cars, airport transportation, and so on.

Posting there will get you feedback from many WDW guests--not just the narrow focus you get on the DVC board.
