Driving Hfx to Orlando advice please

We are thinking of driving down for March break this year. We drove Ottawa to Orlando a few years ago, but this is the first time from Hfx. Looking for lots of advice. We are going to go through Calis because we know that border best.

route
toll roads
hours per day you drive
better places to stop to spend the night
3-4 nights on the road

Thats all I can think of at the moment, if there is anything I forgot please add it. Thank you.

I have the exact routing for you...somewhere her on my laptop...complete with tolls and hotels.

But I can't find it!!!

If you mapquest it, and add stops, that will work...using:
Halifax to Calais ME
Calais to Bangor
Bangor to Scranton PA
Scranton to ugh....this is where I forget.

It avoids the *worst* of the traffic that is the I95,..although some folks swear by the 95.

We prefer going a little further inland..still 4-6 lane highways, but not the Tappanzee Bridge, Garden State Parkway, and the DC parking lot that is Washington.

I'll get the routing from DH and post the city pairs for mapquest for you.
