I am looking for possible alternative routes should the weather be uncooperative. I usually travel 79 - 77 - 95.

This will add several hours, but you'll avoid the I-77 mountains in West Virginia. You'll go through about 50 miles of mountains in Tennessee.

I-90 to I-71 in Cleveland
I-71 to I-75 in Cincinnati
I-75 down to Florida Turnpike (however, take the bypass around Macon GA...it'll shave about 10 miles off the trip).
Florida Turnpike to Orlando.

Thanks, this sounds like the route I created in google maps. Are the mountains in TN anything to worry about? Approximately how much longer (2 hours)?
