Driving from WDW home to Long Island,NY

My hubby myself and our 4 year old son. Where would be the best place to stay overnight? We would be leaving Disney around 11AM. Would like to only have to drive maybe 6 or 7 hours the next day.

Rocky Mount or Roanoke Rapids in NC would put you in the Ballpark of 7 hours left to drive. Check Trip Advisor for Hotel listings and ratings

If you can make it to Virginia on your first day of travel, do it. Especially if you want a chance of getting to Long Island in 6-7 hours.
