Driving from Toronto

We are driving from Toronto area in August with 2 Grandchildren 6 & 9.We are taking route I-90, 79, 19, 77, 95, 4.Would anyone have done this trip and have any tips.Would love to hear were you may have stopped for the night,Hotel and restaurant recommendations,

We have a lot of points for Choice Hotels (includes Comfort Inn, Quality Inn Sleep Inn ect.) and would like to use them on this trip.Anyone have experience with any of these enroute)Thanks for any help.

We live in Niagara. We have taken that route many times in the past. It takes me about 22 hours from here actual driving. We fly now out of Buffalo since its just the 2 of us now. The only thing I can say about staying overnight is, I would either drive until we reached just north of Charlotte or stop in BECKLEY. It is 4 lanes the whole way and a very interesting drive. What ever you do when you drive thru SOMMERSVILLE dont even go 1 mph over the speed limit there. They always have a speed trap and are looking for Canadians. Make sure the kids have something to do, so you wont hear WHEN ARE WE GETTING THERE
